Folsom Jazz Festival The 21st Annual Folsom High School Jazz Festival will be held on January 30th, 2010. Get the APPLICATION below on this page. This year we were full in most venues in the early Fall, so get your application in as soon as possible to ensure your spot. Scheduling is done on a first-come-first-serve basis by postmark order. The 2009 FJF was a roaring success with 6 venues over 2 locations: Folsom High School and Rolling Hills Christian Church. There were over 130 middle school and high school jazz bands, vocal jazz groups, and combos competing throughout the day, from all over California and Nevada. This event was one of the largest jazz competitions in our State. Noon concerts featured the Sac State Latin Band in the Folsom High School Theater and the Sac State Jazz Choir at Rolling Hills Christian Church.
